The Warship is our answer to the everyday players need for a midrange. Designed to be user friendly for all levels it holds a straight line and feels great in the hand. For faster arm speeds it will fly straight and will be very controllable. For lower arm speeds it will hold a straight line and finish to the left for right handed players and right for left handed players. The Westside Warship has a great float, flight and is our fastest midrange in our line.

A local warship from the Finnish national epic Kalevala. The picture was drawn by Arto Hoffrén in 2011. Warship in Finnish language is Pursi.

Fantastic disc. Must have!

Feels like a Compass, flies like a Kaxe-Z, but get it in the stiffest plastic to keep it stable!

The Warship very quickly became the most thrown disc during my Trilogy Challenge round, as a glidey, deep rimmed midrange with a mild dome. I don't doubt that the Moonshine plastic helped keep it stable in the relatively windy conditions we were in. If I were to pick its most outstanding feature, it would be the glide. I gave it a decent rip on the long downhill hole #4 at Horsenden (95m on UDisc) and it didn't stop flying until trees 20m deep of the green grabbed it. Taking it out a few weeks later at Croydon, I found the glide worked really well on uphill shots on Holes #4 and #6, and it held the lines I put it on fairly well, though it didn't give me a consistently predictable hyzer flip option, for reasons I cannot work out. I had to really whip the spin into the disc to flip it up properly, which is a little strange for such a glidey disc. Given I am already fully sold on the Kaxe-Z as my longer straight midrange, the Warship didn't make the bag, but I see no reason why it doesn't deserve some love, particularly if you prefer a deep dish feel as opposed to a sharp bevel nose profile like the Kaxe!
