The Glory is an overstable fairway driver that just gets better the longer it’s in your bag. I can throw it flat and hard with full confidence. The grand plastic feels great in my hand and it has a reliable fade that I count on every time. I can trust it in a headwind and I love using it for tricky shots. I can even pop a little anhyzer angle on it for an S-shaped shot. It has been a great addition to my bag this year, especially with all of the windy conditions I face most weekends!

GRAND – the new premium plastic: Grand is the durable premium plastic in our Royal Line. Grand has great grip that will not fail you, no matter the outside circumstances. It features a soft feel and a rigid rim with perfect flex.

THE ROYAL LINE: The Latitude 64° Royal Line takes disc golf quality one step further with the innovative NexEdge and NexFeel technologies. The days of sharp flashing are gone as the NexEdge process provides a buttery smooth feel to the bottom and outer parts of the rim. NexFeel is our new polishing technology enhancing the grip and feel of the whole disc surface. Want the best? The Royal discs are made for you.

NexEdge: The days of sharp flashing are gone. The Royal discs will have a smooth feel on the outer and bottom part of the rim thanks to our NexEdge trimming process.

NexFeel: Latitudes’ new mold polish technology in our Royal discs enhances the grip ability of the plastic surface. They’re adjusting the plastic to achieve the optimal feel and flex of each mold in the Royal line-up.

a little more beef

when i first picked up a FIRST RUN glory i was expecting an overstable explorer that finishes a bit harder. essentially i got what i expected but with more beef.

in my opinion you could put the fade as a 3.5 or even a 4 and i wouldnt say its wrong, these first runs have a nice dome with a poptop and a great handfeel. On a backhand with 90% power i get a straight flight for a good 80m before it starts to hyzer, it pushes forward on the hyzer for a bit to about 90m before dive bombing to the ground.

on a forehand i essentially get the same flight as on a backhand but the dome is a touch uncomfortable for me.

overall this disc is basically a domey glidey 7 speed version of an Axiom Fireball or a 7 speed firebird/felon.

a great disc but not as great as the Rebecca Cox team series😉
