A stable fairway driver that looks nice and is worth giving a shot

If you're looking for a stable (not overstable, just stable) fairway driver that skips a fair bit and is great for flicks then this is worth trying.

Still feels great to throw, but the difference the plastic makes boggles the mind!

I have already 5-starred my Proton Volt, which is a bagged favourite disc for me. Meanwhile, I have been working with both an Electron and CN version for a little while to decide whether the Volt is one of those "multiple" molds for me, and tbh I am struggling a little bit with the task. On the one hand, the Electron is playing out as you would expect, beating in quickly and playing very straight: but maybe it is beating in too easily as I am starting to wonder whether it is getting too unlike a Volt in its understability (potentially, this may make it a better choice for the slower arm). Then there is this CN Volt, which is absolutely gorgeous to look at btw, but flies like a new Champ Firebird, even after 100+ throws. Of course, being able to hit a headwind with Firebird style confidence using a slim fairway driver makes its own use case, and maybe I should just treat this as a secret meathook and call it "job done". But my brain can't quite handle how different the Volt flies in its different plastics. While I am fully acknowledging MVP aren't hiding these differences, giving the Volts varying flight numbers to match their plastics, my hands niggle a bit holding a familiar mold while my brain tells me to massively course-correct my expectations on its flight path. I guess I will give it another 100+ throws and see if my feelings change, but with how durable these CN plastics are, it may not be enough!
